Build It, Wear It, Eat It, Live It!

History is so much more than dates, names and places. It’s architecture, food, clothing and much more! Join us for an immersive experience where your camper may be able to dig in the river for clay, make wooden nails, bake the colonial way, and make felt. Camp is limited to 12 campers.

Designed for rising 5th and 6th graders. $140 per child ($130 Friends members)

June 25 - June 29, 9:00 a.m. – 3:00 p.m.  Registration required.

Archaeology of Food

Campers will learn about archaeology and what it tells us about how and what people ate, as well as how it affected them. Through the week, students will have a chance to work alongside the archaeological field school in screening artifacts, meet with our top research staff, as well as hearth cook on a historical site. Camp is limited to 12 campers.

Designed for rising 7th – 8th graders.  $140 per child ($130 Friends members)

July 16 - July 20, 9:00 a.m. – 3:00 p.m.  Registration required.
